Padgate Station
1920.
The Station was practically identical to that at Glazbrook and opened
at the same time, The main buildings are on the Manchester side. Originally
there were steps down form the over bridge to each platform and there are
well used sidings, on both up and down sides, In the late 1960s the goods
yard and sidings were closed, but the basic buildings are still in good
state of repair.
