Wilderspool crossing 1900,
what a fantastic photograph, wish I had taken it.
This is a typical industrial Street 100 Years ago (we are now in June
2000) Well you never know someone may be looking at this site 100 Years
form now, The building on the right is Latchford wire works (Warrington
famous for it's wire) the signal cabin is next to it, it had a wheel to
control the gates, on the left you can make out the foot bridge, Like the
old street lamp in the foreground.?, I wonder what the chap in the distance
was thinking, probably "silly sod
now't better to do than play with that gismo"
